App of the Week: Build Your Wild Self

This is actually a computer game and your students will truly enjoy it! Build Your Wild  Self is a computer application created by the New York Zoos and Aquarium.  The  children create an animal and then choose the habitat that it will live in.  You can even  have them justify their choices!    My students used to love this game!! I found it to be instrumental in every grade I taught  animals, habitats, or ecosystems.
